$this->Post->title('Limited/Restricted Internet Access');

What if we are like other countries ( Burma, Thailand and Singapore ) that has limited access over on internet? You can’t use Google. No Youtube. No Blogspot for blogger. You can’t send email using your favorite free email server. Using of software tunneling programs (is it proxy?) aren’t legal.

I heard Jason nung sinabi nyang “San bansa yun? Ayokong pumunta doon!” lolz. Noon sinabi kong sa Burma daw.It is a usual reactions from a blogger person who can’t live without Internet. :)

What if you are like Mr. Roby ( iBlog3 Speaker in Freedom of Expression in ASEAN) experienced that he can’t send any emails without authorization of their goverment using legal email server ( this server I think owned by the goverment where they can monitor all outgoing and incoming email )? How do you express your rights there? Do you think there is Howie Severino’s blog that yelling out for a Pacquiao defeat this May elections not in Boxing?

Last two years ago, Poell and I designed a program that can hide some message in jpeg and wav files. Poell called it Steganox. Yeah the name Steganox was derived from Stegano or Steganograhpy a process of hiding data inside other data. For example, a text file could be hidden “inside” an image or a sound file. By looking at the image, or listening to the sound, you would not know that there is extra information present.

I really wonder where my copy is? I didn’t know if I baked (in Linux we call it Baking and other they used to call Burning Cd’s) it. As I remember we have a pending feature there. hmmm I think attaching files in jpeg and wav files.

Maybe you can ask Poell for the copy (yes, for sure it is free). I’m not here to promote our software but were just here to help others shouting out and expressing their Freedom and Rights.

    Thank you so much for taking time to join us at iBlog3. I hope you can still make your Steganox software available. Although it is possible that the people in these countries may not be able to access/download it in the first place unless you “mask” it.

    be glad that we don’t have much law or jurisprudence on that app, as one could interpret the use of it as espionage or analoguous.

    when will you hold seminars on its use? heh heh
