Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash founded the company as Travis Jeans, Inc in 1994 out of Pacoima, CA. Travis Jeans, Inc was initially a line of maternity jeans that was named after Gela’s Son. When the women decided to expand on their initial concept, they created Juicy Couture as a subsidiary of Travis Jeans, Inc.
